Inserting special characters in Word 2011. The Special Characters tab of the Symbol dialog has a list of frequently used characters and displays the built-in keyboard shortcuts for those characters in Word. To insert a special character, select it from the list and click the Insert button. Does anyone know whether there is a way to enlarge the special characters grid (I used Office for Mac 2011)? I realize that one can click on any character in the grid in order to slightly enlarge it that character, but this assumes that one can pick out a likely candidate for the character one wants.
